BGOLDN helps families facing hunger in Golden, Colorado, through a community-driven approach. Our Fresh Food Pantry, Home Delivery Program, and Nourishing Success School Snack Program provide stable food access and work to end hunger in our community.
Providing families with a stable source of affordable, fresh food
BGOLDN’s Fresh Food Pantry is open Tuesday through Friday and serves more than 400 families each month. Our team prioritizes the procurement and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, poultry, meat, and dairy—sourcing from Colorado-based growers and purveyors whenever possible.
Home delivery is available.
If you are unable to visit the pantry due to mobility issues or lack of transportation, please fill out this application to begin the qualification process.
Nourishing Success School Snack Program:
BGOLDN partners with eight local schools to provide immediate nutrition to students throughout their school day.
BGOLDN distributes healthy snacks amongst these schools each week, ensuring students have access to needed nutrition at any time of the day to support their ability to focus and perform. During the 2023/2024 school year, we distributed over 24,000 snacks.
Partner Schools: Shelton Elementary, Welchester Elementary, Bell Middle School, Connections Learning Center, Free Horizon, Kyffin Elementary, Mitchell Elementary, Jefferson Academy.
Fresh Food Access Program:
In collaboration with the Golden Farmers' Market, BGOLDN provides the opportunity to offer food insecure families the chance to shop for fresh and locally produced agriculture products at the weekly, seasonal market. On a monthly average during the 2024 season, a family of four purchased $300 worth of local agriculture products- contributing to their health and supporting local agriculture businesses.
